Lone Working Policy

1st Class Pre-School does try for staff members to work together as much as possible but on occasions depending on ratios some staff will work alone in their rooms within their ratios.

 

Thankfully we are a small nursery and in the case where a staff member wants to be covered for nappy changes or toilet breaks etc they would only need to stand by their room entrance and ask for staff cover

Rooms l join up at the start and end of the day when we do not have many children left and on occasions if we have only a few children within each room they will join up throughout the day.
