
Complaints policy
A parent/s or Guardian with any concerns should if possible talk firstly about their worries or anxieties with the person in charge.
If the parent is not satisfied with the handling of any issues raised or if the problem recurs, the parent/guardian is advised to put their concerns in writing and arrange to a further discussion with the manager.
Complaints made to registrations & inspections
Details of the complaint will be recorded in writing
If you wish to complain via phone, you will be required to give your name and address
A registration officer with write to confirm that the matter is under investigation
All matters will be investigated immediately
The registered person will be notified of any necessary action to be taken
The complainant will be notified of the actions taken, unless he or she wishes to remain anonymous
If the complainant decides to remain anonymous the complaint will be investigated and any action taken will be recorded in writing
If the complainant is not satisfied then it will be referred to the social manager and further to the director of social services, if necessary.
All complaints will be dealt with seriously and confidentially
